Typical Analysis : C 0.35 - 0.45 ; Cr 1.8 - 2.1 ; Si - 0.3 ; Mn  1.5 ; Mo  0.20 ; P <0.035 ;  S<0.003

Properties: Standard plastic mould steel , easy to polish with high gloss , economical to machine , hard chrome plateable . This grade like other P20 subgrades are prehardened to 30 - 35 HRC.

Applications: It is a popular grade for plastic moulds including those with large dimensions. Used for high quality plastic mouldings for the automotive industry, consumer durables industry, components & electronics. Also used for production of die & mould bases. Good polish finish & etching – graining is obtained.
