Properties : An oil or water hardened chromium steel for tools & components requiring high wear resistance & subject to high pressure on surfaces.

Application : This steel is used for products with high abrasion resistance , since it achieves a high degree of hardness along with good compressive strength. Used in manufacturing roller dies , spinning tools , woodworking tools , tools for impact extrusion , cam and cam carriages for knitting machines , all types of bearings , knife edges for scales , curling & beading tools , tube rolling mandrels etc
