Properties & Applications :  This high cobalt/molybdenum type high speed steel has a very good cutting efficiency and is abrasion resistant. It is designed for severely stressed tools for machining high tensile material. Also used for austenitic steels and high temperature alloys at fast cutting speeds, especially for heavy duty automatic and turret  lathes .
