Properties : This is a high carbon high chromium cold work steel with a molybdenum & vanadium variant. This grade of steel is characterized by high stability in hardening, with very good through hardening properties.  Tempering back resistance is also adequate. It also has a tough compressive strength as well as high wear resistance.

Applications : This grade of steel is recommended for tools which require very high wear resistance, combined with good toughness & shock resistance. This steel can also be vacuum  hardened & air quenched
