Typical Analysis : C 0.3 - 0.4 ; Si 0.3 - 1.0 ; Mn  0.95 - 1.5 ; P 0.03 ;  S 0.003 - 0.03 ; Cr 14% - 17% ; Ni 0.5 ; Mo 1.10.

Properties : The stainless option where high degree of resistance is required when moulding aggressive materials. Can be hardened upto 50 HRC.

Applications : Well suited for processing chemically aggressive & acid releasing plastics like PVC , amino plastics & Halogenated flame retardant additives. Used in injection moulds , mould inserts , slit dies , extrusion dies , drop forging tools & co-axial housings for processing PVC , blow moulds
